Pre-requisites

We will be using a PC to manually flash Marshmallow update

  • Odin

Download the latest version of the Samsung’s popular flashing tool from here.

  • USB Drivers

Odin required USB drivers to recognize your device, download and install the Samsung USB drivers on your PC from here.

  • Firmware

Download firmware for SM-T719 from here.

Steps to Install Stock Firmware on Galaxy Tab S2

Step 1. First download the zip file of firmware to your PC from the link given in the above section. Sammobile website required sign-in in order to download firmware files. Select the right firmware to download according to your country/carrier.

Step 2. Use any unzipping tool to extract the file firmware file on your PC.

Step 3. Download the latest version of Odin from the link given in the above section. Unzip the Odin zip file on your PC. Then launch Odin window by double-clicking on Odin.exe.

Step 4. Now reboot your device in Download Mode. To do this, press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down keys for few seconds.

Step 5. Connect the device to PC using a stock USB cable and wait until a blue sign appears in Odin.

Step 6. Once you see a blue sign in Odin click on AP button and then select the firmware file.

Step 7. Un-check the re-partition checkbox on Options tab of Odin.

Step 8. Hit the Start button in Odin to begin the process and wait for few minutes.

Step 9. Once the process is finished, your device will boot automatically into the updated firmware.
