And in these 3 to 4 years, I’ve learned so many tips and tricks to improve my experience. Sharing knowledge is the part of learning process, so here I am sharing few useful tips with you. How to Turn On Safe Mode in Android

Just like in all other operating systems, Android also has safe mode. Although you may not find it yourself while using it all the time, but it’s useful when you need to do some troubleshooting. In safe mode you can easily find out that the issues you are facing is due to installed apps or it is a issue related to the software.

To enter safe mode or restart your phone in safe mode, press and hold the power button for a few seconds until you see the “Power off” pop-up.

Follow these steps to enter into safe mode or restart your device into safe mode:

  • Press and hold the “Power” key for few seconds until a “Power off” pop-up appears on the screen.
  • Next, press and hold the “Power off” pop-up until a confirmation message appears on your mobile screen to enter into safe mode.
  • Tap “OK” and your device will reboot into safe mode.

Note: If you want to exit safe mode simple switch off your device like you normally would.

How to Fix Android Error [com.google.process.gapps Has Stopped]

It’s very annoying when an app crash on its own without any reason. This error code “com.google.process.gapps has stopped” is one of the major causes of apps to stop automatically. In almost all Android devices this error will occur once in a while. Here’s how you can fix is easily in no time. One ultimate fix is to remove all the cache and data of the app.

To do so, find that app under application manager in your device’s settings and then simply “CLEAR CACHE” and “CLEAR DATA”.

If the problem is still persists try resetting app preference. To do so, follow these steps:

  • Go to your device settings.
  • Open application manager.
  • Swipe to “All” column.
  • On top-right corner of the screen there are three vertical dots, tap on it.
  • Now select “Reset app preferences”.

It will reset all of the apps settings and will go back to square one.

How to Hide Files in Android

Your phone is personal so does the data contained within, that you don’t want anyone to see. But you cannot blame intruders because it’s their nature to sneak peek into your personal data. But you can hide your personal data from all the intruders by just simply adding a new folder in the existing folder and then name it “.nomedia”.

For example, I have a folder called ”XYZ”.

I store all my personal data like pics, videos, or docs in this folder.

To hide the data of my personal folder, browse the folder through any file manager and make a new folder in the existing folder.

Change the name of newly created folder to “.nomedia”. Now all the files in that folder will be hidden and safe from the intruders.
